Ella Fills Us In On The Disney And Pixar Announcements

While our timing didn’t match up, we have Ella giving her thoughts on bunches of the newly announced Disney shows and movies below. Now on to Ella’s thoughts:

Raya and the Last Dragon – I feel like this is going to be the next big IP for Disney since Frozen. It has all the makings for a hit

Baymax (Series) –  I kind of get the Baymax love, he’s cute and completely innocent- aik to Stitch who also is everywhere. So the demand I see, but personally does nothing for me. But more or less confirmation that the current Big Hero Six series is over.

Zootopia+ – To me, the girl who loves series involving ducks that get dangerous, not a major Zootopia fan. The story in itself was not a massive favorite, but I was really into the world they made and glad we get to see more.

Tiana – This was both one of the most surprising news pieces and not for me. Tiana is a fantastic character and within the Disney Princess range (excluding Rapunzel and Ariel who both already had their own series) is the only one with the personality, and cast to make a new series work. The original cast has to come back and there has to be music.

Moana: The Series – Um… I have yet to watch Moana…. Argh, Disney fans please do not at me!

Encanto – Amen! (This is in response to my note that anything that Lin-Manuel Miranda is in is a win) Man is a genius and that is all I really need. But the fact this is playing with magic also has me excited.

Iwájú – Need to know more, but I like this collaboration route we are trying!

SparkShorts – Not really a short fan.

Pixar Popcorn – Raw Toonage 2.0?

Dug Days – *Starts tearing up* Bring UP, well up, makes me cry!

Cars Series – This is my only complete and total pass.

Win or Lose – A sports series…um, I am lost…

Luca – Yes!! I feel like there is some big hook with this they haven’t told us yet.

Lightyear – Total confession, this is the only thing I actually really cared about. It is no secret that I LOVE Buzz Lightyear of Star Command- so I do hope we can see some elements in this. But I am sure this is going to be something I talk a lot about as more comes out. So stay tuned!

Turning Red – This is awkward enough to be incredibly endearing.
