Thanks to Cricket’s latest video, fans of the hit animated series can celebrate, as season five is now set to premiere on Disney Channel on August 21, before arriving on Disney+ the following day, August 22.

Like all of Cricket’s videos, the teaser is packed with his trademark humor, complete with over-the-top spooky visual effects. While it doesn’t reveal much about the adventures waiting for the Green family this season, it does accomplish one important thing—it finally gives fans a return date after months of waiting.
With excitement already building across the fandom, it seems likely this surprise announcement is only the beginning, with a full trailer and more details about the upcoming season expected to arrive in the weeks ahead.
