From his on-screen adventures in Disney’s popular animated series Big City Greens to social media platform TikTok, Cricket Green has been bringing laughter to fans for years.
Though it has been a while since we’ve last seen the antics of the Green family, it appears the nearly year-long hiatus fans have endured may finally be coming to an end.
In a recently uploaded video on the official TikTok account @realcricketgreen, Cricket appears on camera teasing that season five of the series is on the way—until a train horn cuts him off. The playful interruption leaves fans to speculate about exactly when the popular late-2010s animated series will return.

While there’s still no official word on a premiere date, there’s already excitement in the air to see what new adventures await the Green family. Last season saw the characters find a new balance between their lives in Big City and Smalton, opening the door to plenty of entertaining opportunities as they juggle two very different worlds while keeping the signature Green family humor intact.
That leaves one big question: after everything these characters have experienced since the series first began, where does the winding road ahead lead? It’s a question fans will likely begin getting answers to once Disney releases the first trailer and official details for the long-awaited fifth season.
