The Casagrandes – Operation Dad Gives Us Dr. Santiago

The Casagrandes will finally give a look at Dr. Santiago in Operation Dad which will air on Monday, January 20th with Eugenio Derbez voicing the character. The physician, who normally works in Peru with Physicians on Mission will be in town to visit and Ronnie Anne tries to come up with a plan to keep him in town.

While Dr. Santiago is divorced from Maria, they still have a great relationship and he does all he can to catch up with Ronnie Anne and Bobby while working. He will also send packages and do video chats with Ronnie Anne while caring for the children in the clinics throughout the world. Ronnie Anne and her father are similar in many of their personality traits and get along wonderfully so can understand her wanting him to move to the same town. That being said we know that Dr. Santiago’s work is very important to children across the globe, so it will be interesting to see what plan Ronnie Anne and Sid come up with.

Nickelodeon is debuting a brand-new half-hour special of The Casagrandes, “Operation Dad,” on Monday, Jan. 20, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT), starring Eugenio Derbez (Overboard). During the episode, Ronnie Anne tries to convince her Dad (voiced by Eugenio Derbez) to move to the city while he is visiting. With the help of Sid, she devises a plan that seems too good to fail.

In the clip we get to see Ronnie Anne meeting her dad at the airport and driving back to the building where Ronnie Annie now lives. This is going to be a great episode and we are glad to learn more about Dr. Santiago. Love the casting of Eugenio Derbez to do the voice work as well.
