Sofia Wylie is playing Mia Brooks on the limited series Shook Disney Channel YouTube show starting on September 28th and then every Saturday starting on October 12th. This is HUGE as this limited series will be something you will need see exclusively on Disney Channel YouTube and shows us that this is a place that you can’t leave out in terms of shows as this is where the target audience consumes entertainment.
There is a lot packed into the SHOOK trailer and this is what we think we know after watching it. Mia Brooks (played by Sofia Wylie) is a good dancer, but is scared to share her gift outside of her house and with her little sister. There seems to be only one open spot on the dance squad, but her mother grounds her which will make getting to work with any crew or squad a problem. This conflict seems like it leads to much larger problems. We also see that Mia has a video of her dancing go viral and that will open up all sorts of doors for her dancing life. This is tempered by her mother having problems to how Mia is handling herself with this new fame. This show is going to kill it for the dance fans and we are looking forward to how it all plays out.
