Big City Greens has made a huge impact in our television watching this summer as it has some great characters and the stories are well written as well as being funny for both children and adults. Throw in the fact that we really enjoy the traditional animation, the show has jumped to “must watch” status each week. While we were in the midst of thinking about talking about Tilly it is very interesting that we happened to get a wonderful opportunity to interview Marieve Herington who voices Tilly Green.
In the interview you can read about some of Tilly’s famous lines and situations, but overall she can really just hit the funny in a deadpan sort of way. Some of our favorites are when she takes the place of Miss Splish, her trying to infiltrate the raccoons, where she pretends to be bored to death by her father, as well as many others. She is the exact opposite when it comes to Cricket in terms of excitability and because of this becomes the perfect complement of a character. While we can go on and on about different times the Tilly meter goes off the charts in terms of funny, we want to compliment the writers for giving her a consistent ability to make us laugh.

TILLY GREEN
As an adult, we love Big City Greens and our favorite character happens to be Tilly for her ability to make us laugh. She is the character that will make this an enjoyable watch for the adult audience (the kids think she is great also) as Big City Greens becomes a family favorite.
Tilly plays the perfect older sister, as she is always interested in what Cricket is up to. She also puts together a plethora of plans that seemingly get the duo out of trouble. What about in the parade episode where she uses a balloon to fool the officer. She seems to be the ultimate get out of jail free card for Cricket as her schemes always seem to work out for her. She is also a bit of an oddball which allows us all to relate to her in a way. With all of this though, she really does enjoy not only helping her family but others around her. Her heart seems to always be in the right place.
