Alex Welch Talks About Meeting Demi Lovato’s Fist

There probably aren’t a lot of people who can tell you what it’s like to get punched by Demi Lovato, but Alex Welch is one of those people.

Alex, a dancer with the Jonas Brothers World Tour/Camp Rock 2 Tour, had the honor of having her face meet Demi’s fist before Demi checked into rehab for “personal issues,” and she told People Magazine all about it.

“We were on the plane with the Jonases having this awesome time and I didn’t get a call or text from Demi or a ‘hey, you got a problem with me,’ nothing. And she walks up and punches me and literally walked away and got in her seat.”

Alex assumes she got the punch because Demi was under the impression that Alex had gone to the tour management to talk about Demi’s behaviour, but Alex was caught completely off-guard by the attack because she says she didn’t know Demi had been up to anything and didn’t suspect any problems between them.

“To this day, I haven’t gotten an apology. I’ve heard nothing. That’s sad if you think that person is your friend.”

The incident took place in October, so why talk about it now? Well, Demi is still in rehab so it’s difficult to get her side of the story, and rumor has it that Alex might be looking for a little courtroom vengeance. No time like the present to get the public on your side.
