It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and that means one of television’s most beloved holiday traditions is getting ready to make its annual return!

That’s right, Freeform is preparing to welcome the holiday season with the return of its annual 25 Days of Christmas programming event, bringing together a month filled with festive films, beloved animated specials and family favorites that have become a staple of the season for generations of viewers.

Beginning December 1, the network will once again transform its schedule into a celebration of all things Christmas, offering families plenty of opportunities to revisit their favorite holiday stories throughout the month. And this year’s lineup has a little something for everyone, from classic Disney films and nostalgic holiday specials to a few new additions joining the festivities.

Among the highlights is the Freeform premiere of Mickey’s Home Alone, arriving December 19, alongside the return of Disney favorites including Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas, Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas, Frozen, Frozen II and Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.

And of course, it wouldn’t quite feel like the holiday season without some of those films that families find themselves returning to year after year.

The Home Alone films will be featured throughout December, alongside all three installments of The Santa Clause trilogy, Arthur Christmas, Disney’s A Christmas Carol and both versions of The Grinch. Fans of animated holiday adventures can also look forward to Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas, Kung Fu Panda Holiday, Prep & Landing and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Some of the most recognizable Christmas television classics are also returning, including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town, bringing a little extra nostalgia to the holiday lineup.

The network is also welcoming a few special premieres this year, including That Thrifting Show with Lara Spencer: Holiday Edition – Sleigh the Family Room! on December 3 and A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, making its Freeform debut on December 7.

And when Christmas Day finally arrives, families can celebrate with the annual Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade, airing December 25 at noon, featuring holiday entertainment from Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.

With everything from animated adventures and holiday comedies to some of the most recognizable Christmas stories ever brought to the screen, this year’s 25 Days of Christmas offers plenty of reasons for families to gather together and enjoy a little holiday magic.

Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas begins Tuesday, December 1, 2026, with programming continuing daily through Christmas Day.

Whether you’re looking forward to spending another evening with Kevin McCallister, returning to Arendelle with Anna and Elsa or simply enjoying some of those classic Christmas specials that never seem to lose their charm, there’s certainly no shortage of holiday entertainment waiting this December!
