Get ready to step into the world of Bing in an all-new way as the beloved preschool character is bringing his adventures beyond the television screen and into a rather unique play experience!
For young children, imaginative play is such an important part of discovering the world around them. Whether they’re creating their own stories, exploring new ideas or simply finding a quiet place to relax, those everyday moments can help children learn more about themselves and their emotions.
And now, Acamar Films is teaming up with Pods to bring those experiences together with the introduction of PodsGo Bing, an all-new immersive play space designed to encourage creativity, storytelling and sensory exploration.
Announced through Rocket Licensing, which manages the UK and Ireland licensing program for Bing, the collaboration marks Pods’ first licensed product, bringing the familiar characters and stories of the popular preschool series into an interactive environment created specifically for young children.
But unlike a traditional playset, PodsGo Bing combines a colorful, easy-to-assemble play space with interactive technology, allowing children to enjoy music, stories, lighting and sound effects through a dedicated app.
Featuring a collection of Bing-themed digital content, the experience encourages children to create their own adventures through role-playing activities, familiar stories and music inspired by the series.
And while there are plenty of opportunities for imaginative play, the new product also offers something a little different.
With color-changing LED lights and calming sensory features, PodsGo Bing can also become a quiet space where children can relax, unwind and enjoy a little time to themselves.
Something that feels particularly fitting for a series like Bing, which has become so recognizable for its approach to the everyday experiences and emotions of early childhood.
After all, not every moment of growing up is filled with excitement and adventure. Sometimes, children need an opportunity to process their feelings, take a break or simply enjoy a familiar and comfortable environment.
And that’s something the creators behind Pods have placed at the heart of their products.
Originally developed by Pods Creative Director Alex Ford, the concept was inspired by his own childhood experiences with imaginative play, alongside an understanding of the emotional and sensory needs of disabled and autistic children.
Designed with inclusivity in mind, the play spaces aim to give children of different abilities an opportunity to explore their creativity while enjoying an environment that can also support quieter moments.
It’s an approach that connects rather naturally with the themes of Bing, where seemingly small childhood experiences often become opportunities to understand emotions, relationships and the world around us.
And with the new collaboration, those ideas are being brought into a physical play environment that children can make their own.
Pods has continued developing its play products since 2014, with PodsGo recently receiving recognition as the winner of the Role Play category at the 2026 Independent Toy Awards.
Now, with Bing and his friends joining the experience, the company is introducing another way for families to combine familiar storytelling with imaginative and sensory play.
And while interactive technology has become an increasingly common part of children’s toys, there is something interesting about seeing it used to create an environment that encourages both active imagination and moments of relaxation.
Rather than focusing entirely on screens, PodsGo Bing uses digital features to complement a physical space where children can play, explore and enjoy their own little adventures.
PodsGo Bing became available at the end of October 2026 through the official Pods Play website.
And for young fans of Bing, it looks like there is now another way to bring their favorite characters into everyday play, whether they’re ready for an imaginative adventure or simply need a little quiet time of their own!
