There are few children’s entertainment phenomena quite like Baby Shark. What began as a catchy children’s song has grown into a global franchise, introducing generations of young viewers to the colorful world of Pinkfong through music, animation and educational adventures. And while the beloved characters have continued to reach audiences around the world, one of the company’s most successful international channels has just achieved an extraordinary milestone!
The Pinkfong Company has officially announced that its Spanish-language YouTube channel, Pinkfong Español, has surpassed 20 million subscribers and an impressive 13.37 billion cumulative views.
Launched in 2016, the channel has spent the past decade bringing Pinkfong’s familiar characters, songs and educational content to Spanish-speaking families across the globe, including audiences in Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and the United States. Having celebrated 10 million subscribers just four years ago, the channel has now doubled its audience, becoming The Pinkfong Company’s third-largest YouTube channel by subscriber count.
And the numbers don’t stop there!
Between 2023 and 2025, Pinkfong Español recorded a 96% compound annual growth rate in views, while its cumulative watch time has exceeded 720 million hours. That’s the equivalent of approximately 82,000 years of viewing!
Part of the channel’s continued success comes from its approach to creating content that resonates with different cultures and audiences. A recent Baby Shark remix featuring playful monkey-and-banana themes has already surpassed six million views, while another video inspired by Mexico’s Día de los Muertos celebration has attracted more than 10 million views.
But Pinkfong’s Spanish-language success isn’t limited to its most recognizable franchise.
Bebefinn Español has also surpassed 18 million subscribers, continuing the growth of the popular preschool property. Meanwhile, the company has introduced a dedicated Spanish-language channel for Minjee, Bebefinn’s K-pop-loving neighbor, with another expansion already on the horizon.
This November, Dinolings, the animated dinosaur series following a lovable young Tyrannosaurus named Rex, will launch its own Spanish-language YouTube channel, bringing another of Pinkfong’s growing franchises to families.
With a decade of accomplishments behind Pinkfong Español, the milestone highlights just how far the company has come in connecting with children through music, storytelling and familiar characters, regardless of language or location.
And with new projects continuing to join its expanding collection of entertainment, it looks like Pinkfong’s next chapter is already well underway!
