“Peppa Pig” and “Sesame Street” Come Together for One Final Adventure in Sounds of Sesame Street!

“Peppa Pig” and “Sesame Street” Come Together for One Final Adventure in Sounds of Sesame Street!

There are some characters that, no matter how much time passes, continue to hold a special place in the lives of young children and families. And while they might come from entirely different worlds, there is often quite a bit that these beloved characters have in common, especially when it comes to the lessons and experiences they share with their audiences.

Something that has become particularly clear with the first-ever collaboration between two of the most recognizable names in preschool entertainment.

Peppa Pig and Sesame Street.

Over the past two months, Hasbro and Sesame Workshop have been bringing these two beloved worlds together through a special series of YouTube videos, giving young audiences an opportunity to see Peppa, George and Elmo interact in ways that have never been explored before.

And now, the collaboration is coming to a close with one final adventure that brings even more familiar faces into the mix.

The third and final installment, Sounds of Sesame Street, is officially available on the Peppa Pig and Sesame Street YouTube channels, taking Peppa and George on a special visit to Sesame Street, where Elmo is waiting to introduce them to some of his friends.

And as you might imagine, there is quite a bit of fun waiting for the two young pigs.

During their visit, Peppa and George get to meet Cookie Monster, who is more than happy to share his enthusiasm for one of his favorite things in the world. Cookies! Although, as Peppa and George are quick to point out, back home they would call them biscuits.

It’s a small but rather fun moment that highlights some of the differences between the characters and the worlds they come from, something that has been a recurring part of the collaboration.

But Cookie Monster isn’t the only familiar face joining in on the fun.

Abby Cadabby also makes an appearance, inviting Peppa and George to help her create a special rhyming spell inspired by one of Peppa’s favorite activities.

Jumping in muddy puddles!

And with a little magic, plenty of splashing and a whole lot of laughter, the group discovers that sometimes the most wonderful sounds aren’t necessarily the loudest or most unusual ones.

For Elmo, his favorite sound is something much simpler.

The laughter of his friends.

It’s a rather fitting message to bring the collaboration to a close, particularly when considering how both Peppa Pig and Sesame Street have always placed such an emphasis on friendship, curiosity and the everyday experiences that help young children understand the world around them.

And while the two franchises have their own distinct approaches to storytelling, there is something quite natural about seeing these characters together. Both have spent years introducing young audiences to new ideas, emotions and experiences through familiar characters and situations that children can recognize from their own lives.

The new video also carries an additional layer of significance for George, whose character has been exploring an important new storyline throughout 2026.

Earlier this year, Peppa Pig introduced a storyline revealing that George is moderately deaf, developed in partnership with the National Deaf Children’s Society and the Hearing Loss Association of America. The storyline was created to help authentically represent the experiences of deaf children and their families, bringing another important form of representation into the preschool series.

And with Sounds of Sesame Street focusing on the different sounds and experiences that make up the world around us, George’s inclusion feels especially meaningful as the franchise continues to explore his character’s journey.

The new installment follows the collaboration’s September 2 debut, Elmo and Peppa’s Muddy Puddles (Dance Remix), which brought the characters together through music and one of Peppa’s most recognizable activities.

That was followed on September 24 by a special US vs. UK Pronunciation YouTube Short, exploring some of the differences in the way the characters speak and the words they use.

And now, with the release of Sounds of Sesame Street, the three-part collaboration comes full circle, bringing together music, language, friendship and the simple joy of discovering something new.

What makes this particular crossover work is that neither franchise has to change what makes its characters recognizable. Peppa still loves her muddy puddles, Cookie Monster still loves his cookies, Abby still brings her magic and Elmo continues to find joy in the people around him.

Instead, the collaboration allows those familiar personalities to interact and learn from one another, creating something that feels like a natural extension of both worlds.

Sounds of Sesame Street is available now on the official Peppa Pig and Sesame Street YouTube channels, marking the conclusion of their first-ever collaborative video series.

And for young fans of both franchises, it’s a chance to see some of their favorite characters come together for one last adventure filled with friendship, laughter and, of course, a few muddy puddles!

Mother of three. That does not include the dog or my husband either! We have a full household of fun and we just love trying new products of all varieties. May not watch as many kids shows as the rest of the family though.
