There is no question that Hello Kitty and her friends have become some of the most recognizable characters in the world, with their influence extending far beyond the traditional world of children’s entertainment. From fashion and merchandise to unexpected collaborations with major global brands, Sanrio has continued to find exciting new ways to celebrate its beloved characters. And now, it looks like Hello Kitty and her friends are preparing to return to the racetrack for another rather adorable collaboration!
Sanrio and F1 Academy are officially teaming up once again, bringing Hello Kitty and Friends back to Las Vegas for the racing series’ season finale, taking place November 19–21, 2026.
The returning collaboration will see the colorful world of Sanrio make its presence known throughout the race weekend, celebrating the 18 female drivers competing in F1 Academy while introducing an assortment of special experiences, activities and exclusive merchandise for fans.
And there’s certainly plenty for Hello Kitty enthusiasts to look forward to!
Located within the F1 Academy Paddock, the returning Sanrio Fan Zone will offer visitors a collection of interactive experiences, including the Hello Kitty Cafe Pit Stop, where ticketed attendees can enjoy cookies, baked goods and hot chocolate. Meanwhile, the Creative Garage will invite fans to design their own Hello Kitty-inspired crowns, create friendship bracelets and add temporary tattoos to their race-day looks.
The festivities will also feature interactive games, photo opportunities and a display of racing helmets inspired by Hello Kitty, Kuromi and My Melody. Fans will even have the opportunity to create their own F1 Academy driver’s licenses and lanyards, while Hello Kitty and Kuromi themselves are scheduled to make special appearances throughout the weekend.
But the celebration won’t be limited to the racetrack!
Three Hello Kitty Cafe locations throughout Las Vegas, including Fashion Show, Park MGM and the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, will also participate in the festivities with special food and beverage offerings alongside Hello Kitty x F1 Academy merchandise.
Beyond the adorable aesthetics and exclusive collectibles, this collaboration also carries a particularly meaningful message. F1 Academy has continued to create opportunities for female drivers within motorsports, while Sanrio’s characters have long represented friendship, individuality and the confidence to pursue one’s dreams.
Bringing those two worlds together offers a fitting celebration of young women pursuing their ambitions in a sport that continues to evolve.
And with Hello Kitty and her friends returning for another year of racing festivities, it looks like Las Vegas is preparing to welcome a little extra kawaii magic to the finish line this November!
