There is something about Halloween that makes the entire month of October feel just a little more exciting. From picking out the perfect costume and decorating our homes to planning parties filled with delicious treats and plenty of spooky surprises, it’s a time of year when imagination and creativity truly take center stage. And, of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete without a few familiar songs to get everyone up and dancing.
After all, what better way to celebrate the spooky season than with a little music, some monster-inspired dance moves and a whole lot of fun?
Well, it looks like KIDZ BOP is ready to turn up the volume this Halloween!
The popular children’s music brand is celebrating the season with KIDZ BOO, a collection of Halloween-inspired music, interactive activities, special partnerships and live experiences designed to bring families together throughout October. And whether your little monster prefers dancing around the living room, celebrating with classmates or showing off their costume at a Halloween party, there’s certainly no shortage of ways to join in on the festivities.
At the center of the celebration is the KIDZ BOO Halloween hub, which brings together seasonal music playlists, themed videos, downloadable activities, party inspiration and merchandise. Designed with children, parents and teachers in mind, the collection offers families an opportunity to incorporate a little extra musical excitement into their Halloween traditions.
But the festivities extend well beyond the digital experience, with KIDZ BOP partnering with several familiar family entertainment brands to bring the Halloween fun to even more places.
For children who enjoy listening to their favorite music through Yoto, the new KIDZ BOP Halloween Vol. 2 Yoto Card is available now, introducing another collection of seasonal songs through the interactive audio platform. Meanwhile, classrooms across the country can get moving through a special KIDZ BOO takeover of the KIDZ BOP channel on GoNoodle.
Throughout the month, students and teachers can dance along to Spooky, Scary Skeletons, participate in the Monster Move Minutes Challenge and work toward earning three Monster Crew badges. There’s also a downloadable activity pack to bring even more Halloween excitement into the classroom, with participating classrooms entered for a chance to receive a special surprise.
And for families planning a little Halloween outing, the celebrations are heading to some familiar destinations as well.
More than 500 Chuck E. Cheese locations are joining the fun through the annual Halloween Boo-tacular, running through November 2. Visitors can enjoy KIDZ BOP Halloween music, themed videos and special messages from both Chuck E. Cheese and the KIDZ BOP Kids, bringing an extra musical element to the family entertainment destination’s seasonal festivities.
Over at KidZania Dallas, the Halloween celebration is getting its own pop-star makeover with the KIDZ BOO Dance Party and Costume Fashion Show. Running from October 3 through November 1, the special programming invites children to show off their costumes, practice their best dance moves and enjoy KIDZ BOP’s version of Thriller as part of the kid-sized city’s Halloween activities.
And the music doesn’t stop there! KIDZ BOP Radio on SiriusXM Channel 135 is featuring Halloween favorites throughout October, alongside special messages from the KIDZ BOP Kids. Families can also join DJ KB at select Club KIDZ BOP events this fall, bringing the seasonal celebration to the dance floor with music and entertainment.
What makes this year’s KIDZ BOO celebration particularly enjoyable is the variety of ways children can participate. Whether they’re learning a new dance routine at school, singing along to their favorite songs during a family outing or creating their own Halloween party at home, the activities offer opportunities to enjoy the season through music and movement.
And considering how much music has always been a part of Halloween celebrations, from familiar seasonal classics to the songs that seem to find their way onto every party playlist, it’s rather fitting to see KIDZ BOP bringing its own playful approach to the festivities.
Families can explore the full collection of Halloween music, activities and seasonal experiences through the KIDZ BOO hub, with special events and partnerships continuing throughout October and into early November.
So, grab your costumes, practice those monster moves and get ready to turn up the music, because KIDZ BOP is making sure this Halloween is filled with plenty of spooky, silly and wonderfully musical fun!
