Friendship is magic, but apparently, it’s also in the cards!

For generations, “My Little Pony” has been a staple of childhood collections. From colorful pony figures lining bedroom shelves to the countless adventures shared by Twilight Sparkle and her friends, there has always been something special about bringing a little piece of Equestria into our own world.

And while the franchise has continued evolving over the years, one thing has remained rather consistent.

Fans love collecting their favorite ponies.

Now, KAYOU and Hasbro are celebrating the first anniversary of “My Little Pony” trading cards in the United States with three new releases, giving fans even more opportunities to expand their collections and celebrate the magic of friendship.

And with two of the releases inspired by some familiar Equestrian celebrations, the timing couldn’t be more fitting.

Leading the anniversary festivities is “My Little Pony Friendship Eternal Cards – Moon Edition 4,” arriving October 16. The latest installment continues the Friendship Eternal collection, bringing another release to KAYOU’s growing lineup of “My Little Pony” trading cards.

But the fun doesn’t stop there.

With the spooky season already upon us, “My Little Pony Nightmare Night Trading Card Game Booster Packs” are available now, bringing one of Equestria’s most memorable celebrations into the world of collectible cards.

For longtime fans of “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic,” Nightmare Night probably needs very little introduction. Between the costumes, candy and unforgettable adventures involving Princess Luna, the celebration has become one of the show’s most recognizable traditions.

And now fans have another way to celebrate it beyond revisiting their favorite episodes.

Of course, as Nightmare Night comes to an end, another beloved Equestrian celebration is preparing to take center stage.

“My Little Pony Hearth’s Warming Eve TCG Booster Packs” will arrive October 30, offering collectors a new release inspired by the franchise’s winter celebration.

Hearth’s Warming Eve has always been more than a simple seasonal occasion within the world of “My Little Pony.” Its stories have explored the importance of friendship, unity and putting aside differences, themes that have remained at the heart of the franchise throughout its many generations.

And considering how much of the series revolves around the bonds between its characters, it’s a rather fitting addition to the anniversary lineup.

Fans will be able to find the new releases through major retailers including Target, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop and Barnes & Noble.

The anniversary also highlights how “My Little Pony” continues finding new ways to connect with its audience, particularly those who grew up watching the adventures of Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack.

For many longtime fans, collecting has always been part of the experience. Whether it was searching for a favorite pony figure, discovering a new piece of merchandise or simply finding something that reminded them of a beloved character, the franchise has maintained a strong connection to collecting culture.

Trading cards offer another extension of that tradition, combining the excitement of discovering new additions with the familiar characters and world that have made “My Little Pony” such an enduring part of children’s entertainment.

And as KAYOU and Hasbro celebrate their first year of bringing the cards to the U.S., the newest releases are giving collectors several reasons to keep an eye on store shelves this October.

Whether you’re celebrating Nightmare Night, preparing for Hearth’s Warming Eve or adding another Moon Edition release to your collection, there’s a little something for everypony.

After all, friendship may be magic.

But there’s something pretty magical about discovering a new favorite card, too.
