For little ones, some of life’s biggest adventures can come from the smallest moments.
A new experience, a big feeling or simply figuring out how something works can feel like an entire journey when you’re little. For years, “Bing” has turned those everyday preschool moments into stories for young children around the world.
And now Bing’s neighborhood is getting considerably bigger.
Acamar Films has announced a new agreement bringing 104 episodes of its award-winning preschool series “Bing” to Disney+ across EMEA, significantly expanding the show’s availability throughout Europe.
Following the series’ successful launch on Disney+ in Italy, families can now find “Bing” across 17 territories and regions, with episodes available in 14 local languages. The rollout includes the U.K. and Ireland, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Czechia, Poland, Central Eastern Europe excluding Hungary, Greece, Malta and Cyprus.
For a preschool series, that ability to meet young viewers in their own language is particularly important.
“Bing” was developed around expert-led storytelling intended to support healthy child development and emotional resilience, taking experiences that can seem relatively ordinary to adults and looking at them through the considerably bigger perspective of a young child. Those recognizable moments have helped Bing become part of the everyday routines of families far beyond where the series first began.
The Disney+ agreement gives even more of those families a place to discover him.
Acamar Films CEO and “Bing” producer Mikael Shields says the company is particularly excited about the opportunity for more children throughout Europe to experience the series in their own language, with Disney+ providing access to a much larger audience across EMEA.
And while joining Disney+ across such a large part of Europe is a major expansion, Bing was already quite the world traveler.
The series is now licensed in 163 territories globally as Acamar Films continues working toward establishing Bing as a global evergreen character. Created by Acamar Films in partnership with Brown Bag Films, the series originally premiered on the BBC’s CBeebies, where it remains a leading title.
That journey from CBeebies to 163 territories—and now an expanded home on Disney+—shows just how far stories about seemingly little moments can travel.
Because childhood itself is filled with those moments.
Learning something new, dealing with a difficult feeling, making a mistake and trying again might happen in different homes, countries and languages, but those experiences have a way of being surprisingly universal when you’re little.
Now families across even more of Europe can experience them alongside Bing.
And with 104 episodes available in 14 languages, Bing has quite a few new neighbors to meet.
