It’s time to pack up the moving boxes because Barbie is getting ready for an exciting new chapter, and she’s inviting fans around the world to join her for the adventure!
For generations, the Barbie DreamHouse has been one of the most recognizable playsets in the world of toys, giving children a place to create their own stories, imagine extraordinary adventures and bring Barbie’s ever-evolving world to life. And while the iconic home has undergone plenty of transformations over the years, Mattel is preparing to introduce a new DreamHouse that takes creativity and customization to an entirely different level.
To celebrate the arrival of the all-new 2026 Barbie DreamHouse, Mattel has launched Barbie Is Moving, a global campaign that follows Barbie as she says goodbye to her old home and prepares to move into her newest one.
And this isn’t just any ordinary moving day!
Throughout October and November, a custom pink, 26-foot Barbie moving truck will travel across the United States, making stops in New York City, Dallas and Los Angeles. Fans visiting the truck will have an opportunity to step inside, explore interactive experiences, capture photos and even participate in a surprise prize reveal, with prizes available while supplies last.
The celebration is also extending into the digital world through new collaborations with Pinterest and Canva. With Pinterest’s limited-time Restyle experience, fans can upload photos of their own spaces and explore designs inspired by Barbie’s signature style. Meanwhile, Canva is introducing a collection of Barbie-themed templates, allowing families to create everything from moving checklists to invitations for their own housewarming celebrations.
But perhaps the biggest highlight of the campaign is the new DreamHouse itself!
The 2026 Barbie DreamHouse features a three-story main house alongside an additional movable house structure, allowing children to rearrange their play space and create different layouts. The two structures can be connected by a bridge, while more than 65 storytelling pieces and a working wheelchair-accessible elevator offer even more possibilities for imaginative play.
And Barbie’s moving adventure isn’t limited to the United States. International celebrations include a DreamHouse photo experience in Canada, a life-size DreamHouse activation in Mexico City and additional activities across Europe. As part of the campaign, Barbie is also making a donation to Habitat for Humanity International, helping support families as they work toward creating a place to call home.
The all-new Barbie DreamHouse is available through Amazon, Walmart, Target and Mattel Shop, bringing a fresh assortment of possibilities to one of the most iconic homes in the toy world.
After all, for Barbie, a new home means an entirely new collection of stories just waiting to be imagined!
