Sound Check! “Vampirina: Teenage Vampire” Is On Standby For Season Two This October

You can’t keep this vampire from rocking out!

From her origins inside books, to a Disney Jr. animated series, to a live-action series, Vampirina’s journey has been incredible.

But it’s far from over.

Last year, fans — new and old — got to meet Vee in her new live-action series, Vampirina: Teenage Vampire. The story, seemingly taking place in a slightly alternate reality from her previous iterations, chronicles a now-teenage Vee as she navigates her all-human performing arts boarding school.

While she faces culture shock, rivalry and teenage growing pains, she must keep her secret — and fangs — in check before sound check.

Determined to enjoy her time at school and become a music star, Vee tries to forgo the warnings from her family surrounding the Van Helsings, a family of vampire hunters.

But that’s easier said than done.

The teen-focused series arrived on Disney in September and concluded its 16-episode run in November last year. With many episodes featuring new musical performances alongside this new take on Vee, the series found an audience online with fans eager to see what would happen after the end of episode sixteen.

Now, it has officially been confirmed that a second season of the series will be arriving early next month.

With an October 6th Disney Channel premiere — followed by a next-day Disney+ release — we’re finally going to see where this adventure resumes.

This season, after successfully performing for the entire school in front of her idol, Millie Eyelash — and inadvertently releasing a horde of monsters previously imprisoned in the mirror realm — Vee and her gang return to Wilson Hall with new musical dreams, all while trying to make sense of a prophecy dictating that Vee and Elijah can never be together.

With danger, music and forbidden romance in the air, it seems this isn’t going to be another normal start to the school year for Vee and company.

The new season brings our same principal cast back into the action, but this time they’re joined by two new recurring characters.

Full House family favorite Jodie Sweetin enters stage right alongside recent Camp Rock 3 performer Ava Jean.

Presently, Disney is keeping their roles under the coffin lid, but they’re certainly exciting additions to this musical group.

As is a guest-star appearance from recording artist Hudson Stone.

While Vee may not be a fan of certain stakes, this time they’re certainly sky-high.

As she continues walking the line between her supernatural reality and musical dreams, Vee is going to need her friends beside her more than ever before the curtain rises on whatever comes next.
