“Phineas and Ferb” Gets a Little Smaller With New SMOLS Vinyl Figure Collection

Ferb, I know what we’re gonna collect today.

There are plenty of things you could probably accomplish during 104 days of summer vacation. Build a roller coaster, travel through time, discover a mummy, give a monkey a shower—or, perhaps a little more realistically, try to complete your latest collection of mystery figures.

With “Phineas and Ferb” once again giving fans new adventures, the Disney animated favorite is also finding its way back onto store shelves. CultureFly is shrinking some familiar Danville residents down for a new Series 1 collection of SMOLS vinyl figures, featuring six characters from the series to find.

Naturally, Phineas and Ferb are both along for the adventure, joined by Isabella, Baljeet and Buford. Yet it wouldn’t really be “Phineas and Ferb” without a certain seemingly ordinary platypus lurking around somewhere. Agent P rounds out the first collection, because apparently even a secret agent occasionally has time to become a three-inch collectible.

Each vinyl figure measures approximately three inches tall and comes inside mystery packaging, meaning you won’t know which Danville resident has joined your collection until you open it. Entertainment Earth currently lists a full case containing 12 individually packaged figures, although a breakdown of how many times each character appears in a case has not been provided.

The new figures are another fun addition to the growing return of “Phineas and Ferb” beyond the television screen. While there is certainly no shortage of merchandise connected to the series’ original run, seeing characters like Isabella, Baljeet and Buford joining Phineas, Ferb and Agent P in a brand-new collectible line gives this first assortment considerably more of an ensemble feeling.

There is one rather obvious absence, though. Apparently Dr. Doofenshmirtz hasn’t constructed a Turn-Me-Into-A-SMOLS-inator just yet.

Considering this is officially labeled Series 1, however, there is certainly room for Danville to get considerably more crowded in the future. Candace, Jeremy, Vanessa, Doofenshmirtz and plenty of others are still waiting for their chance to become very, very small.

For now, six familiar faces are ready to make every day of summer just a little more collectible.
