“Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest” Expands One of Publishing’s Biggest Worlds into Gaming

One of the biggest literary franchises of the past two decades is preparing to open an entirely new chapter.

Warrior Cats is officially expanding into the video game space with Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest, a brand-new turn-based RPG that allows fans to step directly into the beloved world that has captivated readers for generations.

Rather than simply adapting the events of the books, Clans of the Forest invites players to create their own Warrior Cat before embarking on an original journey through the forests of the series. Players will hunt, train, defend their Clan and build relationships while uncovering mysteries connected to StarClan.

The adventure spans four unique story campaigns centered around ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and WindClan. Each Clan offers its own prophecies, rivalries, characters and storylines, giving players multiple ways to experience the world depending on where their loyalties lie.

Customization also plays a major role throughout the experience. Players can personalize everything from their cat’s appearance and markings to their combat style and den, creating a journey that feels uniquely their own while shaping friendships, rivalries and reputations throughout each playthrough.

Fans can also expect to encounter many of the legendary cats that helped define the novels alongside an entirely new cast of original characters created specifically for the game.

The release marks another major step in the continued expansion of the Warrior Cats franchise.
