The Grinch Gets A L.O.L. Makeover With New “L.O.L. Surprise Loves Dr. Seuss Tots” Collection

The holiday season is already starting to sparkle across the toy aisle, and another familiar Christmas favorite is getting a very L.O.L. makeover.

MGA Entertainment is bringing together the surprise-filled world of L.O.L. Surprise! with the wonderfully whimsical characters of Dr. Seuss for the new L.O.L. Surprise Loves Dr. Seuss Tots collection.

And naturally, with the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who joining the fun, this one arrives just in time to add a little more Who-liday cheer to the growing wave of seasonal toys heading into fall.

The special collection takes some of Dr. Seuss’ most recognizable characters and reimagines them through the colorful, over-the-top style fans know from L.O.L. Surprise!. The four designs draw inspiration from The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who, giving each character themed outfits, accessories and details inspired by their original stories.

Even the dolls themselves are getting something new for the occasion. The collection features completely new molds created to better capture the distinctive look of Dr. Seuss’ illustrations while still maintaining the unmistakable L.O.L. Surprise aesthetic.

For younger fans, that means another chance to take characters they already know from books, movies and holiday traditions and bring them into imaginative play. For collectors, it adds yet another unexpected crossover to a toy landscape that has increasingly embraced nostalgia, licensed characters and seasonal releases.

And the timing feels especially fitting.

As the holidays begin creeping closer, toy companies are already starting to transform familiar seasonal traditions into collectible experiences. L.O.L. Surprise Loves Dr. Seuss Tots features four designs to collect and is currently scheduled to release September 1, 2026.
