This was not the Matchbox movie we were expecting but it does seem action packed as a group of kids that grew up playing with matchbox cars are now trying to save their friend and the world. Matchbox: The Movie will release on Apple TV on October 9th with cars, action, adventure and of course car crashes! The head of the Matchbox Gang, who is played by John Cena, will need his friends to clear his name with the CIA as they look to find out what happened to a nuclear warhead.
Matchbox: The Movie is jam packed full of star power and while it has the Mattel toys, matchbox cars connection, we hope we will get a lot of old nostalgia Easter Eggs in the movie. It is rated PG-13 so keep that in mind for the little ones.
