Football season is almost here, and this year the magic of Disney is heading straight onto the field.
Earlier this summer, fans got their first look at the upcoming Disney x Champion NFL Collection, an ambitious crossover bringing together the worlds of professional football with characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and “Star Wars.”
But those first eight pairings were only the opening kickoff.
Now, all 32 NFL teams have officially received their Disney character counterparts, ensuring that no matter where your football loyalties fall, there is a little Disney magic waiting for you.
And these aren’t simply random characters tossed onto NFL merchandise.
Each pairing was selected around the personality, history, traditions and culture surrounding the individual teams. The result is a rather fun game of seeing just how perfectly — or unexpectedly — the worlds of football and Disney can collide.
Starting in the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills are charging into the season alongside Beast, while the Miami Dolphins dive under the sea with King Triton. The New England Patriots have perhaps one of the most obvious matches of the entire collection with Marvel’s Captain America, while the New York Jets are heading to infinity and beyond with Pixar’s Buzz Lightyear.
Things get a little darker in the AFC North.
The Baltimore Ravens have been paired with Maleficent and Diaval, while the Cincinnati Bengals are prowling alongside “The Jungle Book’s” Shere Khan. The Cleveland Browns get one of Disney’s most beloved dogs with Pluto, while the Pittsburgh Steelers are represented by longtime Disney troublemaker Pete.
Moving into the AFC South, there is definitely some power at play.
The Houston Texans saddle up with Pixar’s Jessie, while the Indianapolis Colts reach deeper into Disney history with Horace Horsecollar. The Jacksonville Jaguars have the colorful and powerful Pepita from “Coco,” while the Tennessee Titans get a character who certainly understands what it means to be a titan: Marvel’s Thanos.
Yes. The Titans got Thanos.
That one was basically destined to happen.
Out west, the Denver Broncos charge ahead with Maximus from “Tangled,” while the Kansas City Chiefs get the Big Bad Wolf. The Las Vegas Raiders understandably fall to the dark side with Darth Vader, and the Los Angeles Chargers bring in the strength of Hercules and Pegasus.
And that is only half the league.
Over in the NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys get perhaps another one of the most natural pairings with Pixar’s favorite sheriff, Woody. The New York Giants are ready to wreck things alongside Wreck-It Ralph, while the Philadelphia Eagles receive Marvel’s Doctor Doom. The Washington Commanders, meanwhile, have been paired with Pixar’s Hamm.
The NFC North might have some of the most instantly recognizable matches.
The Chicago Bears are represented by the lovable Baloo, while the Detroit Lions naturally take their place beside Simba. Green Bay Packers fans can represent their team alongside “Star Wars” favorite Chewbacca, while the Minnesota Vikings get Marvel’s thunder-wielding Thor.
Really, who else were the Vikings going to get?
Things remain just as fitting down in the NFC South.
The Atlanta Falcons take flight with the Millennium Falcon, the Carolina Panthers stalk into the season alongside Bagheera, and the New Orleans Saints bring some Louisiana flair with Louis from “The Princess and the Frog.”
And naturally, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers needed a pirate.
Enter Captain Hook.
Finally, the NFC West rounds out the league with another wonderfully strange assortment of Disney favorites.
The Arizona Cardinals are represented by Jafar and Iago, while the Los Angeles Rams get Pixar’s big blue monster Sulley. The San Francisco 49ers lean directly into their gold-rush history with Stinky Pete the Prospector.
Then there are the Seattle Seahawks.
They get the “Mine! Mine! Mine!” seagulls from “Finding Nemo.”
We aren’t even going to argue with that one.
With all 32 pairings now revealed, the Disney x Champion NFL Collection includes tees, crewnecks and fleece pieces celebrating each team and its newly selected character counterpart.
The collaboration brings together Disney Consumer Products, the NFL, Champion and Fanatics and arrives as Disney and ESPN continue their larger “Year of the Super Bowl” celebration leading toward ESPN’s first Super Bowl presentation on February 14, 2027.
More importantly, it taps into something both Disney and professional sports understand incredibly well: fandom.
Fans don’t simply watch their favorite teams or stories. They wear them, collect them, argue about them, build traditions around them and carry those connections for years — sometimes generations.
Combining those two worlds opens the door for some wonderfully unexpected pairings.
Because apparently there really is a Disney character for every football fan.
All 32 teams have made their picks.
Now comes the important part:
Did Disney actually get yours right?
