The magic continues to grow.
As Winx Club prepares to enter its next era, the beloved fairy franchise is continuing to expand beyond its upcoming CGI revival with yet another collectible experience for fans around the world.
Rainbow and collectible trading card company KAYOU have announced a new licensing partnership that will bring an officially licensed Winx Club trading card collection to retailers across the United States and Europe this October.
While the cards themselves offer fans another way to celebrate Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aisha, they also represent another major step in the franchise’s continued global expansion.
Over the past year, Rainbow has steadily been rebuilding the world of Winx Club far beyond the television screen. Alongside the arrival of Winx Club: The Magic Is Back, the company has continued expanding the brand through consumer products, digital platforms, music streaming and now an all-new premium collectibles program.
Designed for both longtime fans and newcomers discovering the magical world of Alfea for the first time, the collection will feature exclusive artwork, story-driven content and collectible rarities inspired by the iconic fairy team.
The partnership was first unveiled during San Diego Comic-Con, where KAYOU offered attendees an early look at the collection through exclusive promotional Bloom cards, giving fans a first glimpse at the premium direction the series is taking.
The release also highlights another growing trend within the collectibles industry. Trading cards are no longer reserved for sports and superheroes. More entertainment franchises are embracing the format as collectors continue looking for new ways to celebrate their favorite characters through premium artwork and limited-edition releases.
For Winx Club, it is simply the latest chapter in what has become one of the franchise’s biggest years in recent memory.
With a brand-new animated series, the complete music catalog now available on streaming platforms, expanding licensing programs and a growing lineup of collectibles arriving throughout the year, Rainbow continues demonstrating that The Magic Is Back is far more than the newest spin on series. It represents the continued evolution of the Winx brand as it reaches new audiences while celebrating the fans who have followed Bloom and the Winx Club for more than two decades.
As October draws closer, the arrival of KAYOU’s trading card collection gives fans yet another way to bring a little magic home while showcasing how the next generation of Winx Club continues taking shape well beyond the screen.
