Hasbro And Nintendo Team Up To Bring “The Legend of Zelda” Adventures Into The World Of Play

The kingdom of Hyrule is preparing for a brand-new adventure—this time beyond the video game screen.

As some of gaming’s most beloved franchises continue expanding into toys, collectibles and lifestyle products, Hasbro and Nintendo have announced a new multi-year licensing partnership centered around The Legend of Zelda, bringing one of gaming’s most iconic adventures into the hands of fans in an entirely new way.

The collaboration, which begins in 2027, marks the first time Hasbro will produce products inspired by The Legend of Zelda. Fans won’t have to wait long for a first look, however, as three new six-inch action figures will make their debut during San Diego Comic-Con, taking place July 23–26.

For nearly four decades, The Legend of Zelda has stood as one of gaming’s defining franchises. Since Link first began exploring the kingdom of Hyrule in the late 1980s, generations of players have followed his adventures alongside Princess Zelda as they battle Ganondorf and uncover the mysteries hidden throughout the series’ richly imagined world.

The partnership also reflects a growing trend across both the toy and gaming industries.

Rather than remaining confined to consoles, today’s biggest video game franchises are increasingly expanding into collectibles, action figures and hands-on play experiences that allow fans to celebrate the worlds they love beyond the controller. As gaming continues becoming one of entertainment’s most influential mediums, companies are finding new ways to bring those adventures into everyday life.

For Hasbro, the collaboration also expands a growing portfolio of beloved entertainment properties, adding one of Nintendo’s most recognizable franchises alongside many of the company’s other iconic partner brands.

With the first reveals arriving at one of pop culture’s biggest celebrations, San Diego Comic-Con once again serves as the stage where fans get an early glimpse at what’s next for some of entertainment’s largest franchises.

As The Legend of Zelda continues growing beyond video games, the partnership between Nintendo and Hasbro shows that the journey through Hyrule is only becoming bigger—giving longtime fans and a new generation of adventurers even more ways to experience one of gaming’s greatest legends.

The first three The Legend of Zelda action figures will be revealed during San Diego Comic-Con, with the new Hasbro product line officially launching in 2027.
