Goal For Season Two Confirmation of “Dragon Striker”

We may be between matches, but the heat of the Dragon power is still burning bright.

This summer’s breakthrough action series with anime flair, “Dragon Striker,” is now officially confirmed to be returning for a second season.

Coming from the official “Dragon Striker” panel at Anime Expo and follow-up coverage, it has been confirmed that an additional eleven episodes will arrive sometime early next year.

Based on the early details, it appears this second act of Key’s journey will follow a similar rollout to what we saw with the first season, with episodes premiering on Disney XD before arriving on Disney+ shortly thereafter. While there has been no official confirmation regarding the exact release strategy at the time of writing, that currently appears to be the plan.

Given the strong reception of the now-completed first season, fans around the world have quickly fallen in love with both the series and its characters, helping Dragon Striker find a solid home among Disney+’s top-performing titles upon its release.

With stunning visuals, endearing characters, highly alluring lore, and an ever-growing mystery, this is far more than simply a sports or action series.

It’s deeper.

Something we have already dived into.

Coming off the heels of the highly climactic finale, things are on unsteady ground for our main cast as a major secret is revealed, forcing Key to confront not only the implications of the past, but also his own recent actions and the truth of the power that runs through his veins.

Based on the early reports, these will continue to be key story elements throughout Season Two. The Knights will face broken friendships, buried secrets, and even an ancient evil as they continue their journey toward the Banner’s Helm Final, seemingly risking everything in pursuit of victory.

High stakes.

High emotions.

And equally high interpersonal relationship conflicts mean this is about far more than simply winning a game or chasing glory.

Something much more important is on the line.

Not only will Key have to face the demons of both his past and his present, but it seems that, once again, Ssyelle is going to have the impossible task of keeping her team together…

Provided she can, at some point, finally get some sleep.
