Enchant Your Holiday Spirt With New “Barbie In The Nutcraker” Funkos

Enchant Your Holiday Spirt With New “Barbie In The Nutcraker” Funkos

Christmas in July has arrived.

While there is plenty to enjoy during these warm summer months, there’s always a part of us that’s ready to trade the summer heat for something a little cooler.

For some, that means relaxing in the air conditioning.

For others, it means bringing out a few holiday favorites to help capture a little Christmas magic early.

This year, Mattel is celebrating the anniversary of Barbie’s very first feature-length film, “Barbie in the Nutcracker,” with a wave of new merchandise, including books, dolls, and a brand-new special that puts a fresh spin on the beloved holiday adventure. Naturally, longtime fans are excited to immerse themselves once again in this magical ballet-inspired world.

As exciting as the new dolls and anniversary offerings are, Mattel has also partnered with Funko to give the film its very first collection of Funko Pop! figures, which fans can now preorder.

Fans can add two Sugar Plum Fairy Barbie figures, the officially named Prince Eric figure, and a collection of Mini Glitter Globes featuring one of four different characters to their collections. Hoping to find the Nutcracker himself? You’ll have to track down the special Chase variant of the Prince Eric figure.

Not only is the collection absolutely adorable, but its festive designs make these figures a wonderful addition to any Barbie fan’s display, no matter what time of year it is.

While Barbie has received Funko Pop! figures before, this collection feels especially significant. It marks the first time a character from the beloved Barbie animated film series has been transformed into a collectible outside of the franchise’s traditional doll line.

That milestone is sure to leave longtime collectors wondering whether other classic Barbie films could one day receive the same Funko treatment.

After all, this may just be the beginning of an entirely new chapter for Barbie’s animated movie legacy.
