“Camp Rock 3” Releases Full Music Video For Opening Song “One Beat Away”

They rock.

A new generation is now just a month away from taking center stage in the long-awaited premiere of the third installment of the Disney musical franchise. Arriving on Disney Channel on August 13 and then on Disney+ the following day, it’s time to grab your guitar and get ready to rock.

Presently, we have gotten a slow and steady stream of news releases, teasers, and promotional tie-ins surrounding the launch of “Camp Rock 3.” Though all exciting developments, viewers are looking forward to seeing not only the story unfold, but also this new generation of campers as they prepare for a higher-than-normal-stakes Final Jam. With the chance to open for Connect 3, everyone can feel the excitement of being so close to achieving their dreams.

Enough so that they break into a full musical number.

And, for the first time, we get to see at scale the film’s first full production number—”One Beat Away.”

Clearly, this scene is set very early in the film, likely on the heels of the campers learning about the incredible opportunity ahead. And for a group of starry-eyed performers, it’s almost like Christmas came early.

We see that excitement radiate throughout the camp as they rush across the grounds. In their pure joy, we see the thrill and burning excitement that comes from believing this once seemingly impossible dream may actually become reality.

While it’s wonderful to see the excitement, the cast’s dynamic talent, and just how detailed the set dressing is—especially the personalized cabins—it’s also clear this represents the emotional high before expectations and reality begin to crash into these talented teens, and the true fight for the stage of their dreams begins.

Having ambition is a wonderful thing.

The underlying question surrounding the opportunity these campers are now chasing isn’t simply about talent.

It’s about what lengths they’ll go to in order to reach the stage they’ve always dreamed of.

What will they sacrifice to get there?

And perhaps even more importantly…

What will they do to stay together when everything around them threatens to pull them apart?
