“Bluey” Begins The Road To Its Big-Screen Debut With New LEGO Publishing Collection

The journey to The Bluey Movie has officially begun.

While families still have a little over a year before Bluey and Bingo make their highly anticipated leap to theaters, the first wave of movie-era products is already beginning to arrive. Leading the way is a brand-new publishing partnership that combines one of preschool’s biggest stars with one of the world’s most recognizable toy brands.

AMEET Publishing, alongside The LEGO Group and BBC Studios, has announced a new collection of officially licensed LEGO Bluey activity and coloring books, launching ahead of The Bluey Movie’s global theatrical debut on Aug. 6, 2027.

Designed for young fans ages 4 and up, the debut collection features three interactive titles, each pairing creative reading activities with official LEGO Bluey minifigures and themed accessories that encourage children to continue the adventure long after they finish the page.

The lineup includes Bluey’s Beach Day, starring Bluey alongside a beach-themed LEGO build, Bingo’s Backyard, featuring Bingo and an exclusive backyard playset, and Colour and Play! Colouring Pad, which combines large-format coloring pages, more than 50 stickers and interactive scenes designed for imaginative LEGO play.

The announcement also marks another exciting milestone in the lead-up to The Bluey Movie. As anticipation continues building toward the franchise’s first theatrical adventure, publishing is once again helping expand the world of Bluey beyond the television screen, giving young fans even more ways to engage with the characters they love while counting down to the film’s arrival.

That strategy has become increasingly common throughout children’s entertainment. Long before audiences take their seats in theaters, books, activity sets and creative play experiences often help introduce families to the next chapter of a beloved franchise while keeping excitement growing between major releases.

For Bluey, it also continues an incredible expansion beyond television. From books and music to live stage productions, toys, video games and everyday lifestyle products, the Australian preschool phenomenon has steadily grown into one of the entertainment industry’s most successful family brands. Adding LEGO publishing to that lineup feels like another natural step as the series prepares for its biggest adventure yet.

With the countdown to The Bluey Movie now officially underway, young readers can expect even more opportunities to build, read, imagine and play alongside Bluey and Bingo before the beloved Heeler family finally makes their big-screen debut next summer.

The new LEGO Bluey publishing collection will launch ahead of The Bluey Movie, which arrives exclusively in theaters on Aug. 6, 2027.
