Relive the magic, friendship and music all over again as you await details on the upcoming “LoliRock” world tour.
Fresh off the exciting news that the long-awaited third season of the beloved French magical girl series has officially entered production, fans now have another reason to celebrate.
For the first time, North American audiences will be able to bring the adventures of Iris, Talia and Auriana home with official English-language DVD releases of both seasons of “LoliRock.”
While the series has enjoyed a steady streaming presence over the years, first on Netflix and more recently on Amazon Prime Video, physical ownership has remained largely out of reach for many fans. That is finally changing.
In partnership with Dreamscape Publishing, both seasons of the fan-favorite animated series are now available for preorder on DVD.
Each season will receive its own standalone release with a suggested retail price of $24.95. Season One is currently scheduled to arrive on August 11, while Season Two will follow shortly after on September 8.
At this time, no details have been released regarding bonus features or additional content beyond the episodes themselves.
As the listings have only recently appeared through both Dreamscape Publishing and Amazon, this marks a significant new development for the franchise—one that, in many ways, feels long overdue.
Over much of the past decade, entertainment companies have steadily shifted away from physical media in favor of streaming-first strategies. Yet in recent years, audiences have begun rediscovering the appeal of owning the stories they love. As titles move between services and digital libraries continue to evolve, physical media offers something streaming simply cannot: permanence.
Sure, streaming is convenient. But there is something special about being able to hold a story that means something to you in your hands. Beyond the episodes themselves, physical releases become keepsakes that carry memories, emotions and a deeper appreciation for the artists, writers, musicians and performers who helped bring those worlds to life.
“LoliRock” has previously received DVD releases in select international markets, particularly within its native France. However, those releases were often difficult for many English-speaking fans to obtain and focused primarily on the original French-language version of the series.
This new release changes that.
Not only does it provide longtime fans with an accessible way to own the series, but it also creates a new entry point for audiences discovering the magical adventure for the very first time.
With Season Three now officially in production, the timing feels far from accidental.
Instead, it serves as a reminder of just how enduring and beloved “LoliRock” remains more than a decade after its debut.
And perhaps, just perhaps, it could be an early sign that additional consumer products and merchandise offerings may begin to appear as the next chapter of the franchise draws closer.
