“Dragon Striker” Exclusive Trading Cards Available At AX Panel

After a strikingly successful launch on Disney XD, Disney+ and Hulu, fans across the globe have entered the arena and found their own respective Gorotama team to cheer for in the newest animated series — and arguably this summer’s hottest can’t-miss action adventure — “Dragon Striker.”

With the series already appearing among Disney+’s top streaming selections, it goes without saying that this explosive new series has quickly captured the hearts of viewers.

As “Dragon Striker” has only recently debuted across television and streaming platforms, there has yet to be any consumer merchandise released or announced for the future. Given how early the series is in its journey, it may be some time before fans can purchase their own team-inspired apparel and cheering gear similar to what is seen on screen.

These special blind-bag collectibles, exclusive to the event, allow fans the chance to pull cards featuring players from every major team showcased throughout the series, including The Knights, The Roses, The Dragons, The Bards, and The Shadows.

Given the continued rise and renewed popularity of trading cards, this move aligns perfectly with broader industry trends. It also feels like a natural fit for the world of “Dragon Striker” itself. We can all already imagine Key having binders full of cards featuring legendary players from across Gorotama back home.

As part of the “Dragon Striker” panel at Anime Expo (“AX”), one of America’s largest and longest-running anime conventions, fans will have an exciting new way to connect with the series. Bringing together fans, creators, musicians, and industry professionals from around the world, Anime Expo serves as a celebration of anime, Japanese pop culture, and storytelling.

Taking place on Day One of AX, July 2 at 1:30 p.m. in Room 403AB, the special panel will offer attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the series. Fans will have the opportunity to hear directly from the creative team and discover the passion, determination, and teamwork that helped bring “Dragon Striker” to life.

While “Dragon Striker” has already made appearances at conventions in the past, this Anime Expo panel presents fans with one of their best opportunities yet to engage with the breakout series during its earliest days.
