Step into a world of sweets, sugar and nostalgia this summer as Bucket Listers and Hasbro prepare to bring the iconic board game Candy Land to life in a brand-new immersive dining experience.

Launching July 9th in San Diego, the first-ever Candy Land Café transforms the beloved childhood game into a colorful, candy-coated adventure packed with interactive environments, themed food and playful activities for guests of all ages.

Created in collaboration with Bucket Listers, the media experiences company behind viral pop culture attractions including The Malibu Barbie Cafe, The Golden Girls Christmas and Saved by The Max, the limited-time experience invites guests to journey directly into the whimsical world of Candy Land.

From King Kandy’s Castle to Jolly’s Gumdrop Mountains, fans will move through vibrant environments overflowing with oversized candy-inspired décor, immersive photo opportunities and interactive moments that recreate the magic of the classic board game in real life.

“Bucket Listers is thrilled to work with Hasbro to bring Candy Land to life in a way fans have never experienced before,” said Derek Berry, President of Experiences at Bucket Listers. “This is more than a café—it’s a full journey through one of the most popular games of all time. San Diego was the perfect place for it to make its debut this summer.”

The experience also includes family-friendly activities such as a Sweet Adventure Checklist and DIY cookie decorating station, giving visitors even more ways to immerse themselves in the sugary world around them.

Of course, no trip through Candy Land would be complete without themed treats. The fast-casual menu features colorful comfort foods with playful twists including rainbow burgers, chocolate BBQ sliders, extravagant milkshakes and a shareable “Chocolate River” fondue experience. Specialty beverages, including both mocktails and cocktails, add even more sweetness with interactive and visually striking presentations designed for sharing.

“At Hasbro, we’re always looking for new ways to bring our brands to life beyond the game board,” said Matt Proulx, SVP of Global Experiences, Partnerships and Music at Hasbro. “Candy Land Café transforms a timeless favorite into a multi-sensory experience, inviting fans to explore, engage and play in a way that feels immersive, joyful and entirely new, while staying true to the magic of the original game.”

With immersive experiences continuing to grow in popularity, Candy Land Café looks positioned to become one of the sweetest destinations of the summer for families, longtime fans and anyone looking for a colorful escape packed with nostalgia and sugary fun.

Tickets will be available exclusively through Bucket Listers, with fans encouraged to join the waitlist for early access and future updates.
