MARVEL’S SPIDEY AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS Are Pirates?

The new season of Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends premieres on June 16th and will have two different story arcs in season 4. Now only will we get the continuation of the Dino-Webs story arc, but we will also get a new storyline what features Water-Webs as Team Spidey gets water-themed powers and pirate suits. It also looks like there will be some pirate ships involved in the story as well. Not only that, but Captain America and Jeff the Land Shark, from Marvel Comics and Marvel Rivals, will also make their debut on the show.

New Season Features ‘Water-Webs’ Storyline and the Debut of Captain America and Jeff the Land Shark

Season four of the hit Disney Jr. series “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends,” from Disney Branded Television, will premiere Monday, June 16, on Disney Jr. (8:00 a.m. PDT) and later that day on Disney Channel and Disney Jr. on Demand, with six episodes available the following day, Tuesday, June 17, on Disney+.

The series, which originally premiered in August 2021, continues to grow in popularity as the No. 2 streaming series for kids and boys 2-5.* It has 2.3 billion views across Disney Jr. and Marvel HQ YouTube channels and 896 million hours streamed globally on Disney+ to date.**
Season four will introduce a new “Water-Webs” story arc in which Team Spidey receives water-themed powers and pirate suits. It also continues the popular “Dino-Webs” story arc from season three.

A new batch of “Meet Spidey and his Amazing Friends” shorts will also premiere Monday, June 16, on Disney Channel, Disney Jr., Disney Jr. YouTube and Marvel HQ YouTube, with all 10 shorts available on Disney+ beginning June 25.Captain America will make his first appearance in the series in the short “Captain America Lends a Hand.” He will then join the lineup as a recurring character throughout season four.

Jeff the Land Shark, the breakout star from Marvel Comics and the popular “Marvel Rivals” video game, will also be featured in multiple episodes.

A multi-single release from Walt Disney Records featuring the songs “Webs Ahoy” and “It’s Jeff” from the new season will debut tomorrow, Friday, May 30. Both songs are written by series’ songwriter/composer Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy).
