Not A Box is a preschool series based on the award-winning children’s picture book from author and illustrator Antoinette Portis, it will encourage young audiences to tap into their creativity and embrace the power of imagination! The bunny Riley and a cardboard box are all it takes as Riley imagines all sorts of magical world, friends and fun adventures. The animation style is fitting for the show and we are looking forward to seeing the upcoming eight episodes of the series. We are also looking forward to any Not A Box toys and products that may be coming as well. Make sure to tune in to Not A Box on Apple TV+, June 13th!

Preschoolers will get to imagine beyond the ordinary as Apple TV+ announces the all-new animated preschool series “Not a Box,” premiering globally on Friday, June 13. The series is inspired by the beloved, award-winning children’s picture book of the same name by the New York Times bestselling author and illustrator Antoinette Portis. Get creative with bright-eyed bunny Riley! With just one cardboard box, Riley imagines magical worlds — full of new friends and fantastic adventures.

With Isabel Birch as Riley and Ian James Corlett (“Dragon Ball Z”) as Adult, the eight-episode series invites young viewers and their families to create, explore and celebrate as they step into a rich world of environments, characters and encounters that is as limitless as their imaginations.

“Not a Box” is produced by Dete Meserve’s Silver Creek Falls Entertainment with Meserve serving as executive producer. The series is written and co-executive produced by Emmy Award winner Michael Rabb. The animation is produced by Passion Pictures with executive producers Debbie Crosscup and Andrew Ruhemann, and directed by Siri Melchior. Additional executive producers include Harry Lowell for NiteLite Pictures, and Angus Wall and Linda Carlson for Rock Paper Scissors. Kate Robinson, director of the Sir Ken Robinson Foundation and daughter of Sir Ken Robinson, serves as the imagination and creativity expert on the series through Apple TV+’s changemakers initiative. Robinson co-authored her late father’s manifesto, “Imagine If… Creating a Future for Us All,” which celebrates how the power of imagination can create and recreate the world.

Mother of three. That does not include the dog or my husband either! We have a full household of fun and we just love trying new products of all varieties. May not watch as many kids shows as the rest of the family though.
