How Do We Really Feel About Stitch?

We now have a new trailer for Lilo & Stitch which will arrive in theaters on May 23rd and we now get an opportunity to see more Stitch interaction with the live action characters. At first we were in love with the Stitch model, he is colorful, he is super detailed and he really looks like how you would want him to look in the film. But something was off, just a little bit, he seems more of a stuffed animal than an alien or maybe more like a bunny, there is something there that is just at the end of our understanding that seems a bit out of place.

Let us be honest though, the character details is amazing, and we are not sure that there is really something we would change, but that still does not help the fact that something is just a little bit off for us, when we get the CGI Stitch interacting with live characters in the trailer. We think the difference between this and let’s say the Chip n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers movie or even as far back as Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is that those were known cartoon characters brought into the real world, this time we are meant to feel that Stitch is an alien, and was not a cartoon. To say Stitch is too cute, too detailed, too something we don’t know, hopefully seeing the full movie will change our mind. How do you feel about Stitch?
