We are getting a new season of Holiday Wars on Food Network starting on November 3rd with nine teams that consist of cake, sugar and cookie artists. This season will be a sugar-coated battleground where talented cake, cookie, and sugar artists are vying for the coveted title of Holiday Wars champion. From imagining Santa’s own buddy movie to designing a festive holiday parade float, the challenges will be interesting this season as the artists must create visually stunning pieces that are also yummy. The judges, Shinmin Li and Kardea Brown, are on the lookout for innovative designs as well as flavors in their decisions.
The teams must push their creative limits and showcase their skills in challenges like creating a piece based on a workout routine for Santa, inspired by the upcoming film Red One, or envisioning a holiday party on the tropical island of Motunui, celebrating the release of Moana 2. With each episode, one team is eliminated, leaving only the most talented and dedicated artists to battle it out for the grand prize of $25k as the title of Holiday Wars champ.
The Holiday Wars festivities begin Sunday, November 3rd at 9pm ET/PT, where nine teams of elite cake, sugar and cookie artists compete in over-the-top confectionary challenges inspired by the season. Host Jeff Mauro leads the merry eight-episode competition along with judges Kardea Brown and Shinmin Li. In the end, only one team is named Holiday Wars champion and awarded the $25,000 grand prize. Each week viewers can head to Food Network’s social pages using #HolidayWars as Jeff, Kardea and Shinmin share how-to’s, their takes on challenges and relive the unforgettable moments from the competition.
