Barney’s World “Clean Up” Song, The New Rendition For Series

Just in time for World Cleanup Day, Mattel has the debut of the ‘Clean Up (Clean Up)’ animated video from Barney’s World, coming to Max on October 14th. The song will be featured in the upcoming series, and fans of the original with notice that it is a little more upbeat and faster paced, but still holds the same fun style. Another generation is going to fall in love with Barney, the purple dinosaur.

Mattel Television Studios Reveals Updated “Clean Up” Song for Upcoming Series

Barney’s World, Just in Time for National Clean Up Day on September 21!

Today, Mattel Television Studios debuts the official “Clean Up (Clean Up)” song that will be featured in the upcoming animated series Barney’s World, premiering October 14 on Max. The “Clean Up (Clean Up)” song is a fun reminder for preschool viewers to do their part in caring for their surroundings. Over 30 years ago, Barney and his friends sang the original “Clean Up” song for the first time and changed the dull chore into a fun, shared activity. The new rendition, titled “Clean Up (Clean Up),” in addition to other original songs featured in Barney’s World, gives parents who grew up with Barney themselves an opportunity to share one of their most unforgettable childhood memories with their own kids in an all-new way. Through learning to clean up, viewers can demonstrate love for their environments– whether that be their bedrooms, classrooms or playrooms– as well as love for themselves. Mattel’s comprehensive revitalization of the Barney brand will span television, film, and YouTube content as well as music and a full range of kids’ products including toys, books, clothing, and more. Apparel and accessories for adult fans, featuring classic Barney, are available now.

Barney’s World premieres October 14 on Max, followed by a linear premiere on Cartoon Network starting Friday, October 18. The show also launches on Cartoonito in EMEA and APAC, and Discovery Kids in LATAM. Select episodes will be available on YouTube, where the first episode will debut early on October 11 in specific countries. Barney’s World premieres with 52 11-minute episodes.
