The Educational and Entertaining Series Opens with an Introduction to Australia’s Newest Urban Trash Invader “The Bin Chicken”
The Wiggles, the world’s most popular children’s entertainment group, are delighted to announce that their upcoming new episode of Wiggle and Learn, “Colors,” will drop on their YouTube Channel on Thursday, July 11. Children will join Lachy, Simon, Anthony, John, Caterina, Lucia, Tsehay, Dorothy, Wags, and The Tree of Wisdom as they dance and sing their way through the colors of the rainbow – and much more. This episode brought to life through a delightful blend of original and classic tunes by The Wiggles, is a vivid celebration of how colors infuse joy into our lives. Children will groove along with some Wiggly dance moves that will have them smiling from ear to ear. As Anthony Field tells children in the episode, “Colors are all around us. They make the world a beautiful and vibrant place.”
The episode kicks off with an engaging segment that promises to delight both parents and toddlers. The Wiggles expertly capture the essence of suburban life, showcasing how everyday tasks can be transformed into joyful experiences. In a whimsical twist, they present their latest hit, “Bin Night,” turning the mundane chore of taking out the garbage into a lively adventure. As the scene unfolds, American viewers are introduced to the Bin Chicken, also known as the White Ibis, a comedic figure that has become a familiar sight in Australian cities as it forages through trash bins. The screen lights up with a vibrant display of technicolor as The Wiggles explore a variety of recycling bins, each adorned in a different hue of dazzling red, green, or yellow, with the mischievous bin chicken adding to the fun-filled spectacle.
Next up, it’s a color extravaganza with the Tree of Wisdom leading the way in a toe-tapping rendition of “Dancing the Blue, Red, Green, and Purple.” But wait, there’s more! Lucia takes the stage with “Everything is Blue-tiful,” whisking children away up to skies and down to seas, while Simon rocks out with “Everything is Red-Markable,” featuring fire engines and sunrise spectacles. And when you thought it couldn’t get any groovier, Dorothy swoops in with “Everything is Green (with yellow spots)” and a blooming garden of sunflowers!
Then, Lucia unveils her mystical music box, unveiling a breathtaking rainbow! Children can sing along to “A Rainbow of Colors Together” as Lucia dazzles us with grape reds, banana yellows, and blueberry blues.
And the fun doesn’t stop there! Lachy and Caterina crack open the Craft Box for a creative session with paper and colored pencils, creating stunning rainbow masterpieces. This colorful journey is peppered with song and dance interludes, from counting 1-20 to mastering the alphabet (from A to Zed, or “Z” if you prefer) to grooving with “Dr. Knickerbocker #9” as the song educates us on body parts galore – hips, feet, hands, and heads! Let the colorful adventure begin! 🌈✨
