Mermaid Magic is coming to Netflix on August 22nd and based on the trailer the animation looks good, if maybe a bit too CGI at some points. We will join Princess Merlinda and her friends Sasha and Nerissa as they go to the surface to battle pirate Barbarossa. Barbarossa is draining the ocean’s magic and the mermaids must protect the Pearls of Neptune, the three of them will try and save Mertropia by finding new pearls as they attend a high school on land.
There looks to be tons of magic and adventure in Mermaid Magic as they use their powers to help save the king and Mertropia. We will also get to learn about ocean conservation and more during their adventures. Looking forward to seeing some Mermaid Magic toys and play sets in the future.
