Disney Junior’s Ariel, We Have Video!

Disney Junior’s Ariel will air sometime this summer, and now there is some video to go along with all the announcements. We get to meet 8-year-old Ariel and her two friends Lucia and Fernie, who are mer-children. Ariel’s tail seems to shimmer depending on her mood, and these friends will be going on adventures throughout the kingdom of Atlantica and beyond. We will get to see King Triton, Ursula, Sebastian and Flounder from The Little Mermaid. It also does not seem like Ursula is going to be that scary, as the kids are going to her Magic Camp. This should be a fun reimagining of the characters from the original story, and we are looking forward to all the new Ariel toys that will come, once the series airs.

Meet Disney Junior’s Ariel! Coming this Summer!

“Disney Junior’s Ariel” is an animated musical series for preschoolers inspired by the beloved story of “The Little Mermaid.” It follows 8-year-old mermaid princess Ariel as she and her friends embark on fun-filled, action-packed underwater adventures throughout their Caribbean-inspired fairytale kingdom of Atlantica and beyond. The series features fan-favorite characters, including King Triton, Ursula, Sebastian and Flounder, as well as exciting new additions like Ariel’s two best friends, mer-children Lucia and Fernie, and lots of other adorable sea creatures.
