Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Based On The Sea of Monsters

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is getting a season two based on The Sea of Monsters book from Rick Riordan’s best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series. The series will be coming back to Disney+ at a date in the future, but we already know that the first series did extremely well for the network, so it makes a lot of sense. This was one of those series that was multi-generational where we watched it together with our daughter and everything really enjoyed it. The filming and special effects were well done and really captured your imagination from the book series.

What has also been nice is that the streaming series has also brought the book series back to the top of the New York Times Bestseller list for Middle Grade series following the series debut. This makes sense, and we love the fact that kids will read the book and then watch the show. There has also been a resurgence in Percy Jackson and the Olympians branded products, so it seems like everyone is loving this series. The season will bring us back with Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri as they take on a new adventure.

The upcoming season will feature the return of stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri, who will embark on a new adventure based on The Sea of Monsters—the second installment of Rick Riordan’s best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series, published by Disney Hyperion.
