Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan is premiering season four of the show, and we are getting season three of NFL Slimetime on Wednesday, September 6th. In the premiere episode of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan this season we have “Build It and They Will Flow,” where some cash is discovered by Dylan and Rebecca, and they have to become magician assistants to get the money back to the rightful owner. Season three of the award-nominated NFL Slimetime will be hosted by Nate Burleson and Young Dylan as they feature all sorts of Nick-ified Slimelights that highlight standout plays of the week, interviews with NFL stars, weekly NVP (Nick’s MVP), celebrity guest picks, youth football highlights and more. Mia Burleson will also be returning as a correspondent along with Dylan Schefter with interviews, George Johnston IV commentating and Nate Wright from Big Nate joining the crew to announce the NVP of the week. Nickelodeon is turning Wednesdays into “Wins-days” this fall with all-new seasons of its hit live-action comedy Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan and weekly series NFL Slimetime. Premiering Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT), the fourth season of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan will follow Dylan as he continues his pursuit of hip hop stardom. In collaboration with CBS Sports and the NFL, the third season of NFL Slimetime will kick off at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) and continue to feature Nick-ified highlights, expert advice and special guest appearances for kids and families to enjoy together.
In the season four premiere of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, “Build It and They Will Flow,” an old lockbox full of cash is discovered by Dylan and Rebecca and “detective” Charlie is on the case to find its rightful owner. Dylan hides the cash in a set of custom speakers he built, but when Yasmine accidentally gives them to Booder, Dylan and Rebecca are forced to play magician’s assistant at his magic club to get the lockbox money back to the person it belongs to. Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan premieres ranked #1 on Thursday nights across all TV in 2Q’23 among K6-11, outpacing the competition by double digits.
The new season of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan will continue to air weekly Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon, following Dylan as he teams with his cousins to continue his pursuit of hip hop stardom, while getting the family into hilarious hijinks along the way. Accompanying Young Dylan in his quest for music greatness are his uncle Myles (Carl Anthony Payne II), aunt Yasmine (Mieko Hillman), grandmother Viola (Aloma Lesley Wright), cousins Rebecca (Celina Smith) and Charlie (Hero Hunter), and Rebecca’s best friend Bethany (Jet Miller).
Season three of the five-time Sports Emmy Award-nominated NFL Slimetime, hosted by CBS Sports analyst and former NFL standout Nate Burleson and Nick star Young Dylan, will feature: even more epic Nick-ified Slimelights; the “Best Play Ever,” showcasing the standout play of the week; the weekly NVP (Nickelodeon’s “Most Valuable Player”) trophy winner; interviews with some of the NFL’s biggest stars; celebrity guest game picks; youth football spotlights; and more.
Each episode of NFL Slimetime will also feature returning correspondents: Mia Burleson, offering kid-friendly game notes and fun facts on upcoming matchups; Dylan Schefter, with exclusive player interviews; and George Johnston IV, commentating on some plays from the week. Nickelodeon fan-favorite character Nate Wright (Big Nate) will join the crew as announcer for the NVP of the week. NFL Slimetime will continue to air weekly Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon, with episodes available to stream on Paramount+, through the 2023-24 NFL season.
