While we have covered The Doomies in our Hit or Miss a while back we have not gotten a ton of new information, but now we have another picture to look at and a little more info in the synopsis. So let us tackle these two items and discuss if they change our opinion and excitement for the show.
For the new The Doomies picture it has what we assume is Bobby and Romy riding their bikes, and riding is a stretch, to get away from a pretty huge monster, we don’t know if this is the “Chosen One,” but if we had to guess we don’t think that reveal would happen in an early release. We are loving the monster, though it seems like it will actually be spooky, as it does not fall into that cute monster category we often see in animation. There is a lot of detail in this picture, and we are in love with that, but we now are a bit interested to see how it will animate and how that the animation will look.
Now let us get into the bit of info we have below on The Doomies and how excited it makes us. There is something that specifically has us amped and that is the phrase “high-stakes” action, that means we are dealing with a mystery that is epic, as stated, and we think it will be a serialized story as we have a main villain in the “Chosen One.” The fact that this is also a comedy is exactly what we are looking for in this character-driven show with best friends Bobby and Romy.
