Magicampers has us super excited as we learn more about the show coming to Disney+, but what has really turned up the hype meter is that we now have some first look images from the show. From the animation standpoint, the world looks lush and populated, and the animals look crazy cute as well. The detail in the backgrounds has us really champing at the bit to see a preview of this show in motion. We do know that the show will follow best friends Darly and Loomis at a day camp for magical creatures that takes place on an island. These characters though are a mixture of fantastical creatures that we are familiar with, as Darly is half-pig and half-Pegasus and Loomis is half-donkey and half-unicorn. Darly and Loomis, along with their friends, dream of being legendary, but maybe they don’t know how to get there just yet. There is going to a huge voice cast but right now we only have little information on that with Treena, the camp leader, being voiced by Uzo Aduba.
This should be a fun show, and we look forward to seeing not only all the different creatures, but all the different adventures that these friends will have. We are know that there should be Magicampers toys coming once the show is released, hopefully we get a playset of the camp and all the characters. The release date for Magicampers should be sometimes in 2024.
