After a successful first season, which we just loved by the way, it has been announced that the Summer Baking Championship on Food Network will be getting a second season. The series performance numbers were great and also racked up the views and social media impressions as the ten bakers competed in summer-themed backing challenges with host Jesse Palmer and judges Duff Goldman, Carla Hall, and Damaris Phillips. Production on the second season should begin sometime later this year.
Summer Baking Championship means that we do not have to wait too long between seasons of the show now, which is a good thing.
Food Network has ordered a season two pickup of the newest addition to its popular seasonal baking franchise Summer Baking Championship, it was announced today by Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery. Hosted by Jesse Palmer, Summer Baking Championship’s inaugural eight-episode season debuted May 15th and wrapped June 26th.
