Listen, as parents we really enjoy reading Another Phoebe and Her Unicorn Adventures, but while reading Punk Rock Unicorn it really hit me. These books resonate directly with our daughter, who just turned 13. She has been reading them for a while as this is book 17 and even as she ages these are some of her favorite books to pick up and read as she can relate with Phoebe Howell.
Phoebe and Marigold head to music camp for the summer and form a punk rock group with Sue and Stevie, but for us, the portal to the parallel dimension was the most fun of the themes of the books this go around. Always love Marigold and her take on the human realm.
