The Magician’s Elephant looks like a really fun movie based on the re-imagining of Kate DiCamillo’s classic novel of the same name. Peter is searching for his sister and a fortune teller may have the answers that he needs, but they will come with an adventure that has his trying to complete three extremely difficult tasks. Peter is going to have to find an elephant and magician who conjured it to start his journey to his sister, and we will all be along for the ride.
We are loving the animation and the trailer gives us a feel for what to expect from the movie, and we are on board. We are loving that classic books that are beloved are making their way to the screen in the animated fashion, and you will be able to watch starting on March 17th on Netflix. The cast for The Magician’s Elephant includes: Sian Clifford (Gloria Matienne), Pixie Davies (Adele), Natasia Demetriou (Fortune Teller / Narrator), Dawn French (Sister Marie), Brian Tyree Henry (Leo Matienne), Noah Jupe (Peter), Kirby Howell-Baptiste (The Countess), Aasif Mandvi (The King), Mandy Patinkin (Vilna), Miranda Richardson (Madam LeVaughn) and Benedict Wong (The Magician).
