We have the starting lineup for Team Ruff and Team Fluff in the Puppy Bowl XIX which will be airing on Sunday, February 12 at 2p ET on Animal Planet. Before the big game, though, you can vote (see the link below) for your favorite pups from the Starting Line Up to see who will win the title of “Most Pup-ular” puppy. Then tune in to Animal Planet to see if Team Ruff or Team Fluff will be the winner of the Lombarky trophy.
We are Team Ruff this year and are looking forward to hearing the stories of these puppy players and this year it looks like there will be more puppies, more animal shelters and rescues, and more adoption stories in this three hour show. We love the game, but look forward to the stories of the work that these rescue and shelter working do. This year Puppy Bowl XIX “will feature 122 puppies, 67 shelters and rescues across 34 states.” There will be a special pup that gets named the BISSELL MVP (Most Valuable Puppy) and the SUBARU OF AMERICA, INC. Underdog Award. We will have Dan Schachner returning as Puppy Bowl referee again this year. Steve Levy and Taylor Rooks will provide the play-by-play, and we will also see Puppy Bowl’s ‘Adoptable Pup’ segments sponsored by PEDIGREE. There will be a few shelters that will feature (bark bark) kittens during Kitty Half-Time as well as the Puppy Cheer Squad, water-bowl cam, slo-mo cam and the pylon cameras. There is always so much fun to be had in the Puppy Bowl.
