Ava DuVernay Comes To Sesame Street On Season 53

Sesame Street is in its 53rd season and is airing on Cartoonito on HBO Max on Thursdays, with 35 episodes to air in the award-winning show. On February 16th Ava DuVernay will stop by for a visit as Elmo, Gabrielle, and Ji-Young are at an Outdoor library. We are excited to hear what Ava DuVernay has to say on the show during the Read and Share episode as Ji-Young writes a comic book with her friends, maybe Ava can talk to them about how comic books are made into movies!

The new season of Sesame Street will stream on PBS Kids in the Fall of 2023.

esame Workshop, the nonprofit behind decades of award-winning educational content, today announced Sesame Street’s 53rd season will debut on Thursday, November 3 on Cartoonito on HBO Max. Episodes of the iconic children’s series, 35 in all, will drop every Thursday. The season will stream on PBS KIDS in Fall 2023.

“Read-and-Share” – Elmo, Gabrielle, and Ji-Young are at an Outdoor Library, sharing books about things that make them special! Ji-Young gets an idea to write her own comic book with help from her friends called: “The Adventures of Ji-Young, the Electric Soccer Rocker,” about a Korean-American girl who loves playing soccer and guitar – some of the things that make her special! In addition, filmmaker Ava DuVernay stops by for a visit!

Mother of three. That does not include the dog or my husband either! We have a full household of fun and we just love trying new products of all varieties. May not watch as many kids shows as the rest of the family though.
