We are always on the hunt for new holiday shows and Spirited will be streaming to Apple TV+ on November 18th where we are excited to see this new musical take on Charles Dickens’ tale. The Ghost of Christmas Present has picked the wrong person to teach about the holiday season as Clint Briggs flips the script and puts the pressure on The Ghost of Christmas Present to examine himself as we get A Christmas Carol from the other perspective, the ghosts. Anything that Will Ferrell does is normally holiday gold, so looking forward to seeing this one.
They are all in for Spirited as they have two high profile leads in Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds. Let’s see if it can stand the test of time and become a holiday classic.
Start your holidays on a high note. Spirited is in theaters November 11 and streaming November 18 on Apple TV+ https://apple.co/_Spirited
Imagine Charles Dickens’ heartwarming tale of a scrooge visited by four ghosts on Christmas Eve—but funnier. And with Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds, and Octavia Spencer. Also, huge musical numbers. Okay, we’re asking a lot. Maybe just watch the trailer?
Each Christmas Eve, the Ghost of Christmas Present (Will Ferrell) selects one dark soul to be reformed by a visit from three spirits. But this season, he picked the wrong Scrooge. Clint Briggs (Ryan Reynolds) turns the tables on his ghostly host until Present finds himself reexamining his own past, present and future. For the first time, “A Christmas Carol” is told from the perspective of the ghosts in this hilarious musical twist on the classic Dickens tale. From Director Sean Anders (“Daddy’s Home,” “Instant Family”), written by Sean Anders and John Morris, with original songs by Oscar winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“La La Land”) and production numbers choreographed by Chloe Arnold (“The Late Late Show with James Corden”), this modern retelling is a sweet and spicy holiday treat.
