Oni: Thunder God’s Tale is a series coming to Netflix soon and we are already LOVING the look of the show as well as the voice actors that are attached to it. This 4 episode series has all sorts of creatures from Japanese mythology as Onari has to fight to protect her village from the gods’ enemies, the “Oni” to keep everyone safe. This is looking like a winner and with 4 episodes it should make for a great story that has enough time to develop and come to a conclusion.

In a world filled with the oddball gods and monsters of Japanese mythology, one of the creature’s free-spirited daughters, Onari, is determined to follow in the footsteps of the mighty heroes of lore, but her unique powers are yet to be revealed. Does she have what it takes to fight to protect her peaceful village from the encroaching threat of the gods’ mysterious enemies, the “Oni”?
